PM: Govt to extend subsidies for agricultural machinery in 2021

ROSTOV-ON-DON, Oct 2 (PRIME) -- A government program of subsidies to Russian producers of agricultural machinery will be extended to 2021, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said during his visit to the Rostselmash plant on Friday.

“Of course, (the program) will be prolonged, around 14 billion rubles was allocated to it in 2020. Next year it will be elaborated, and we have agreed to extend it. And there is no doubt that (Rostselmash) will continue to receive the subsidies. It will be nearly 4 billion rubles next year, and we will discuss with the management what else can be done,” he said.

Mishustin added that the government will consider steps to support local agricultural machinery producers’ export potential.
